RECORDING
ALL MUSIC recorded onto a Macke MDR 24/96 Hard Disk recorder
at a sample rate of 16 or 24-bit, and 44.1 or 48 kHz, in Broadcast Wave form.
These files are then backed up onto a DVD or a hard drive for the client.
These wave files can also be imported into ProTools or any other compatible
software mixing package!

Cheap Mix Studio's first mission is to provide quality recording for cheap money, so we charge by the song, not the hour.
Our rate for full band recordings is $150 per song. This price includes the initial recording session and overdubs. It also includes a mix of all of the songs you record with us.
For singer-songwriter recordings (one or two artists with recorded guitar, or bedded program material) our price is $100 per song. This price includes the initial recording session and overdubs. It also includes a mix of all of the songs you record with us.
Cheap Mix Studios can also mix material recorded elsewhere. Our price for mixing this type of project is $75 a song.

The Master Disc will be created once the mixdown is complete. This Master Disc will be recorded on a Taiyo Yuden CD. Additional copies of the final mix can be provided at $5 per CD, unless the client provides the CD's.
Clients will be billed for the DVD's used for Project Backup. DVD's will cost $8 each, or they can be provided by the client to avoid this cost.
If the client would like their material backed up to a hard drive, they are available through Cheap Mix Studios for $150. If a larger hard drive is required to back the session up, it will be brought up to the client so arrangements can be made to obtain a larger hard drive.

ALL ARTWORK is available one of two ways...
Cheap Mix can put your artwork on a disc that you can bring
to a printer yourself.

The printing cost can be figured into your final sales price, and we will
print it for you.

Flyers are available with fixed information or blank space can be provided
so that dates and venue information can be written in.
For video intros, live performance shoots or music videos: my rate is $25 per hour with a minimun of 2 hour and a maximum of 30 hours.

$100 a page: a minimum of 5 pages

Additional pages: $35 a page

Updating fees are $100 a year
(the month that the site is posted - through the 12 month cycle.)

Clients will be billed for the CD's or DVD's provided for project backup. CD's will cost $4 each and DVD's will cost $8 each. CD's or DVD's can be provided by the client to avoid this cost. Any blank Data CD will work, but our videos will be burned onto DVD-R or DVD-RW discs only.
